Model Freedom Elite

Thor Motor Coach list their models for Class A, B, C but Freedom Elite is not mentioned. My 30FE has the name Thor on the outside overhead. So Thor, why isn’t the name identified?

It's a special run for Camping World.

I think the Freedom Elites are rebranded Four Winds albeit with no available options. Camping World seems to have contracted for hundreds (or thousands!) of them. They are pretty basic in their level of equipment but they generally are VERY well priced. Volume purchase and all that. They are very similar to other Thor brands but some of them (like the Chateau) can be very upscale indeed. And priced accordingly. I like my FE a lot. It has been mostly problem free and given that it cost less than a nice pickup truck I consider it a very good bargain.

I guess that the Thor/Feedom Elite relationship is a lot like:
Lexus/Toyota
Infinity/Nissan
Acura/Honda
Lincoln/Ford
Cadillac/Chevrolet

It's a variation on a theme, that has been given a unique identity.

Maybe but I don’t even think there is that much difference. I think it literally just has a different name and CW has preselected “options” so there aren’t any choices for the consumer.

We love out Freedom 26he 2017. Ford 450 is tops. We like the basic equipment.

Same unit and year as ours! We really liked it and had very few issues, none major, with it in 8000 miles. We are newly retired and though we have camped for years we had no idea how much we would enjoy “touring”. We decided that if we are going to spend 3 or 4 months per year on the road we wanted a similar floor plan but something a bit larger. Knowing that it would never be worth more we traded on a 2017 Winnebago Vista. We only have spent 7 nights in the new coach so far and just 500 miles. Snowed in good now!
