Battery disconnect solenoid location on 2003 infinity?
Hello,
Im looking for the battery dosconnect solenoid on my 2003 four winds infinity. Are there Any common locations to look for it?
I might trace the disconnect switch line bit that could be a lengthy process lol.

Not sure what chassis your rig is on, but the battery disconnect solenoid can sometimes be found in the BCC, which is normally in the engine compartment, mine is on the drivers side.

Its an f53. A guy on the other forum said that his was in the engine compartment. he only had a single disconnect though where I have a chassis and coach. Looking for the Coach disconnect. I think that I will have to trace the disconnect lines to see where they are running. Its just kind of a hassale since everything is bundled up.

Usually it will be very close to the power center. In the house battery compartment there will be a 50 amp circuit breaker with a 8 awg cable going directly to the relay. Mine is under the bed just behind the power center.

Your unit looks very similar to the Hurricane and so have you looked under the hood as suggested? It is a large black box with Battery Control Center on it.

I believe that there are 2. when I have my coach battery on, I get power up front to the radio and such but not to the remaining coach systems. Oddly the radio is on the coach battery but the remaining systems up front are on the chassis.
Anyway, when looking at the battery, it looks like there are 2 positive cables running off of it. I believe that one runs up front and one runs back. I suspect but have not verified that there are 2 different solenoids in the system.

Oddly the radios on Hurricanes operate off of the coach batteries too.
For the third (and last) time, look for the BCC, you will not have 2 of the BCCs, but both solenoids will be inside it.

I have a 2000 Infinity which is on a Chev Workhorse chassis. My disconnect solenoids are located under the hood, off to the right of center. It is rather high up.

Had a 2000 Infinity in F53 with dual (coach/chassis) disconnects...
If I recall, both solenoids are under hood. If either is working, have someone suckle the switch while you look and follow the ‘clicks’..
Very common for the dash radio to be on the coach battery... intended to be used while parked/camping without draining chassis battery or needing key in ignition.
On coaches with a single disconnect (coach only with chassis always on), the ‘keep alive’ power (memory, etc) comes from chassis, and primary power from coach.
