Camco 42183 Screen Door Cross Bar

I installed the cross bar on our RV screen door. The bar allows us to open the door without slamming open. It also makes easy to close the door without leaning way out to grab the door handle. The DW loves it. When she's happy everybody's happy.
I bought this on Amazon for less than $20.

I installed the same product and, gosh, it makes a big difference in "handling" the door and screen.

One of the first "mods" we did for our ACE. It definitely makes closing the doors much easier.

We also installed the cross bar on our screen door and love it. We installed the screen door grille to keep the pups from pushing directly on the screen. All great improvements.

YES ! this was one the first Mods we made after we purchased the Axis.

In addition...following the lead from another Forum member...we put
Bright colored duct tape on each handle on the door .. 2 narrow stripes on the screen door handle and a wider one on the door handle...it helps those who are not familiar with the door system ! .. at a glance ..

We have, also, replaced the shower head and sink faucet to lever style ..
also...thought you might appreciate what we did to the toilet !!

I put 2 of the cross bars on my door, 1 just above the center plastic section & the 2nd in the center of the lower screen section. The upper is great going out & the lower is great going in, one of the most handy mods I've done & the DW loves them.

We also put one of these on the door. It really firmed up the door--doesn't feel nearly as flimsy as it did.
