E-zpass

Where is the best place to mount an E-ZPASS on a Windsport?

Put mine in the center of windshield below the 8-10 inches of tint. Works well.

I'm going to stick mine on the rearview mirror: I might as well get some use out of it!

They're starting to give discounts on the toll rates; if you've got one!
(At least that's what they're doing here in New York!)

I mounted my EZPass just below the tint line on the windshield... Worked fine in IL and OH... but NY wouldn't read it...
Thinking of placing it near bottom of windshield before my next venture to NY.
Of course FL is one of the states not compatible with EZPass - so we add a Sunpass transponder as well.

The Sunpass has nice little suction cups so it can be positioned anywhere on the winshield, Unlike the Illinois EZ pass which needs to be stuck on with Velcro. No wonder Illinois is broke.

Mounted my sunpass on the bottom passenger side of the windshield. No problems so far using it there.

The only potential problem that I see with mounting them on bumpers or windshields: guess what gets damaged first, and most?
Pick yourself a spot that's less likely to end up on the scrap pile...

...just sayin'...

So we have one mounted on the front license plate of our Explorer, had it on several different vehicles for near 14 years. Seems like a good place for one on the ACE.
