Challenger Inverter issue

Hello all, went camping this weekend, had fun but on the way home tried to turn the inverter on for the fridge and nothing, the switch did nothing. Went out and check inverter and the pop up fuse was still set. Any thoughts?

Thanks

KC

Hi, I see no responses to you so far..... so just as a start.......perhaps someone shut off the use/store switch when you were camping and the coach batteries discharged, even while you were connected to shore power? What is your coach battery voltage unloaded (fully charged or not?). The inverter coach battery feeder fuse sounds like it is good from your description......does the inverter indicate its actual input DC voltage and if not, can you measure it at the inverter with a voltmeter?

The Xantrex Pro has a 15 amp circuit breaker located on the inverter itself. It is on the left side near the front. A small black button. If you have power to the inverter at the 12 volt cables, you could have a loose data cable connection. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the data cable. Last resort is to remove all power 120 volt and 12 volt. 120 volt can be removed by the circuit breaker but a 12 volt cable at the inverter will have to be removed to ensure power removal. This will allow a full reset of the inverter. Hopefully it will return to normal operation after restoring power.
