What chassis is the Via/Reyo on?
It was noticeably smaller than my rig

Winnebago no longer shows them on website, so they seem discontinued.
They were built on Mercedes Sprinter with 3.0L V6 diesel, and thus limited to 11,030 pounds GVWR.
Length is about the same as Axis 24.1, but they were listed at 90” wide and 10’-10” tall, making them a few inches narrower and lower than Axis/Vegas.
Even then, there is still a lot of size difference between those Via/Reyo and typical camper vans. I would personally like to see a smaller Class A on a SRW E-Series chassis that was a Hymer clone. Maybe Thor can now tap into Hymer engineering and design an even smaller Class A optimized for smaller couples. My wife and I don’t need 7-feet of headroom in a camper.
For what it’s worth, Ford has manufactured stripped E-Series chassis that would be perfect for a smaller fuel-efficient Class A the size of a Hymer. They were used on step vans in North America. RV designers would just need to keep it simple to keep weight down.
A motorhome the size of this Ford single-rear-wheel step van would be much roomier than vans while still smaller than present NA Class As.
P.S. — Via/Reyo look sharp in part due to rear cap and full body paint, which made them a little more expensive. Mercedes diesel chassis added to cost also.
