Is the Chassis Battery Being Charged While Plugged into Shore Power?

I want to use the clearance Lights while plugged into shore power on my 2008 Windsport 36ft.
Does anyone know if the chassis battery is being charged as well as the coach batteries while plugged into shore power?
So that I can use the clearance lights at night?

It should be, but why don't you measure the chassis battery voltage after being connected to SP for awhile and remove any doubt?

Absolutely correct. Sometimes the battery isolation system fails.

I cant spell

It should charge while on shore power as you house batteries should charge while the engine is running.
How ever mine failed and it took me a while to fix the problem. The Trombetta was good and the BIRD controller was bad. I found one on RV parts.com for $49.00 all other sites listed it for 96.00
Some advice, If the trombetta goes out, make sure you replace it with silver contacts. I spoke to the maker of that part and was told thor should have never used copper. Silver part number ends in 020

Yes as 16ACE said above a reasonably priced ohm meter is part of my toolkit, I check battery voltages in all configurations as well as the solar panels above. All good in river city!
