cruise control

I have own my thor freedom elite for about 18 months and we have been on several beach trip with it, the drive to the beach is not that long so I have never used my cruise control. Today however I decide to drive my coach and I got on the interstate 95 and just drove then I decide to set my cruise control and I could not get it to come on just wondering if any one with a freedom elite has had this to happen, if so what was the fix. trying to avoid take it to the dealer, they are not that good. I am still under factory warranty since ford offer 3 years or 36000 which ever come first. just in case here is my information 2016 ford e450 with v10 6.8 .

I have a freedom elite but haven’t had that problem. I would check with Ford maybe and see if there is something they can do. See if there is a authorized Mechanic that can handle the size of the coach instead of bringing it to the dealer you bought your coach from

Don't have to take it to your RV dealer. Take it to a Ford dealer and since most of the cruise control stuff is in the dash and under the hood you might be able to convince a "normal" dealer to look at it vs one that handles RVs.

Did you turn it on before you tried to set it?

yeah, I'd step back and look at a different time with a clear mind. maybe something like that.
Maybe you were pressing the wrong button.

I had this happen to my old RV. Turned out to be a crack/break that happened behind the fuse box. It also affected my back up lights and power to the towing plug.
