I don’t have your model and you didn’t say which water heater you have, but I changed mine last spring and it was no big deal. Mostly just held in place by perimeter screws on the outside. Definitely a DYI project for anyone reasonably “handy”. Supply chain may be better now but I had to work some to find a proper replacement,
