In fact: it's an easy way to give those batteries a little bit of a "free" charge.

Gee, I made it a habit from the beginning, when I open the coach door...press switch to "use" and keep it there until I have completed my trip, whether it's to an out of state campground or just to Sam's for gas. When I finish the trip...switch to "store". ALWAYS the first and last thing I do. As Bob said, helps keep them charged. Also keeps me from making mistakes while traveling/camping when 12v is required.
