I hope you are right. The Axis is very close in size to what we want. Slightly smaller like the Winnebago Via/Reyo would be better still, but that's a minor distinction.

I'm not interested in Mercedes or a diesel, but if someone made a Via-size Class A that got an honest 12+ MPG on an American gasoline V8 chassis, that would be ideal.

For now we like Axis best, but little things just don't work for us. We need forward facing seats, MegaStorage large enough for bikes, a bathroom with shelf space, etc. All these (except for bike-size MegaStorage) are available on Axis models, just not combined in one of them.

I honestly don't get why Thor can't combine and offer these traditional design features in one floorplan.

Going back to the original question: If you go to the literature download page here:
https://thormotorcoach.com/document-...&model_year=25

You'll note that the 4/2015 Flyer contains the 24.2 and the 10/2015 flyer does not. A stronger indication that the model is being dropped than the floorplan missing from the website.

Looks a lot like "YES" because it's gone for the Axis too, in the 2016-Axis-Flyer-10-01-2015.pdf ... So glad we got one when we did!

Edit: seems the 25.1 is missing too?

You are right -- from 5 to 3. And common to both floorplans eliminated is that they did not have permanent beds.

To me it seems Axis/Vegas are selling great, so I wonder if they are eliminating the slower-moving floorplans to lower costs, or to make room for new floorplans.

P.S. -- Revised Flyer still shows the 12,500 pound GVWR of the E-350 chassis instead of the E-450 they have been building on lately. I wonder if they think issues with the E-350 will be resolved.

The RVIA annual trade show will start on December 1st (not open to public), and I've read that some companies will be introducing new floorplans -- although nothing specific was written about Axis/Vegas.

This is lighter-duty E-Series stripped chassis I had seen before, but couldn't find.

If companies wanted to manufacture even smaller and or lighter Class As similar to Euro ones in the 22 to 24 foot range, but with enough drivetrain muscle to tow a boat, toad, travel trailer, etc., chassis availability shouldn't limit the design. These SRW E-Series had much higher GCWR than Transit.
