On our 29M it is located in the battery compartment. There is a hole and a "D" ring next to it. I keep a 25 ft cable with snaps on both ends, I use the cable to secure our chairs when we leave the campsite. Very convenient.

Thanks for the reply. I checked the battery compartment on my 35M. I did not see a D ring but I saw the hole. I like your idea about chair securement. I will look for a D ring.

On our 35C, it was supposed to be in the battery compartment as well but that didn't
make any sense since the battery compartment was driver's side. The dealer repositioned the D-ring to the propane compartment on the passenger side. I guess that is a trade off since that compartment can't be locked but at least it is on the correct side.

Thanks for the reply. I will check that location. I may contact the dealer. I was trying to avoid that.

On our 2015 32n there are just two adjacent holes in the battery compartment floor. I loop the cable through and secure the loop of the cable with a padlock. No two coaches seem to be the same.

I'll have to look for it on my 2017 Hurricane 35M. Interesting comment about the propane door - mine does have a lock on it. I thought that this was odd, because my last class C didn't have a lock and the dealer told me that for quick access in an emergency it shouldn't have a lock. I wonder if the factory made a mistake in putting a lock in my door.

Could be a mistake. You could replace the lock with a thumb latch and keep the lock as a spare. Or be cheap like me and just hacksaw off part of the finger piece of the lock. Personally I like the idea of the propane door being lockfree in an emergency.

Shawn, you can pick up a D ring at just about any hardware or home improvement center. Be sure to get stainless bolts, washers, and use locknuts to secure. The stores will probably also have the 25ft cable with swivel snaps on each end, usually used to secures pets, the cable has a vinyl cover for protection.

I've been outside working on the coach so I took a picture of what my tie down looks like, you can see the cable there too. Hope this is helpful!

I bought the cable at Lowes in the hardware department near where they sell cable and chain. Not a specialty item, they carry them in stock.
