Have you figured out how to hook up to water AND close the storage door? Doesn't seem right to have to keep the entire door open while hooked up to water. Thoughts?

I have a 2021 and on the left wall, which the Onan generator is on the other side, has a port hole with a cap that threads in and out. I have to run the hose up by the generator and through that port hole. the generator has an open floor though it’s behind another compartment door. It’s about 5-6” in diameter. So the compartment is not sealed up at this point with cover off but the door is not wide open either. I like the idea about making a small hole to run it through. I would not seal it though. The cargo holds are a rotomold material on mine so it wouldn’t be difficult to modify. Maybe they make a small port hole with cover like on kayaks. Everything is just screwed together with sharp end exposed on the outer side. I had to remove some screws and cut them short to blunt them. It could catch the hose or worse shred my hand when reaching through.
