Vegas 24.1 storage ideas
New to me 2015 24.1. I’m coming off a 38’ MH and had plenty of storage. I believe the 24.1 will be just great for the 2 of us but wonder if others would mind bragging a little bit about creative storage ideas?
I’ve got my sewer hose and extension in the sewer bay. No problem. On the utility side of the MH there is the large rear bay and a smaller bay in the front. Where are you putting electric cord, cable coax, hose, water filter, etc. I’m going to carry an air compressor. Thinking about 5” J hooks to hang power cord? Ideas?

The 2015 version should also have the two long slender bays on the passenger side--below the outside TV.
We store all our freshwater hoses and electrical cords in one of those (the rear one). Since its flat all the coiled up cords just stack in there. Yeah sometimes its a mess if you want a cord on the bottom but they all fit nicely.
In the front passenger compartment is all the Lynx levelers--I have enough to fill that spot.
The front driver's side has a plastic container with misc sewage stuff (bottle of chemicals, box of gloves, elbow, etc.). The actual sewage hose is inside a plastic square gutter clamped to the rear frame. I don't have anything in the sewer bay.

They're in my signature thread.
Take the screw out of the bottom of the plastic tray under the drivers elbow.
Lots of space for stuff underneath it.
I carry extra wiper blades in the outside TV bay.
The overhead bed is a great lateral closet.

How is the overhead bed a good storage option? I thought it had to be all the way up, or all the way down..

I've thought about drilling new holes for the bed's safety pins. It would be nice to reset the "stop" of travel for the bed motor. Like dukesface we use ours as a closet for jackets, table poles, and the reflex window covers (no mattress).

Question: I see that you're putting the table posts in the overhead bed. Is the post and tabletop storage no longer behind the couch on the 24.1? (we've rented a 2016 - where the storage was behind the couch, and have 2021 on order for supposed pickup in early December)
And, thanks, love the thread idea! We're trying to figure out the best storage options too.

My 2018 stores them in the closet via clips mounted on the bed side of the closet.
We think, but don't care enough to try it, that they'll fit inside a piece of three inch pvc pipe attached to the corner of the wall behind the toilet opposite of the shower.
We don't use the tables.
They also will slip under the passenger seat between that seats pedastal and the wall.

2017 and Later 24.1 models store the tables and poles in the closet. Bad move by Thor.
They did it that way because in 2017 they upgraded the sofa/bed to a more user friendly and comfortable unit which reduced the excess room behind the couch. (pre-2017 models had a blow-up mattress)
*** When we decide to change-out our couch for recliners...then we’ll build storage behind for the tables & poles.
Until then...we store in the overhead bunk.
