Cab ac

I have a 2012 ACE and recently had the AC for the cab repaired.
It appears to me that the evaporator is not recieving enough air flow or proper air flow across the evaporator in order to provide effective cooling to the cab at times especially at higher ambient temperatures.
Has anyone experienced this type of problem before and how did you rectify it.
I was thinking of adding an external radiator type electric fan with a built in thermostat.

Thanks for any and all help
