Levelors

Put coach in park. Start coach, turn on power to jacks. Then hit auto level button. Should work. If not dealer will fix them for you..

A good phone number to have is Lippert Components
[Mobile] (574) 537-8900
[Home] customerservice@lci1.com

Most of the components in the 2017 Hurricane are Lippert. They helped us are 1st year of ownership of our 2017 Hurricane. Be sure to read the Owners Manual and Matainence Schedule for the unit.

Was your RV engine on when you tryed to lower them. Maybe the engine need to be turned off before they work.

ACE 30.3 I have had the levelers quit twice. Some where near the house batteries there 2 50 amp breakers that have a little flag on them. If one goes then the lights don't come on. If it's the other one the lights come on but it won't operate. Maybe look for those. One is for the control system and high pressure valves, the other is the pump

It's likely a "reset" that's needed - we encountered the same situation periodically with our 2017 Quantum. I've noticed that when I start the truck engine, I hear a small beeping sound from the rear coach area - discovered it was the auto leveling system that had turned on, and was alerting me that I needed to do something or the system would time out - and the error message would be displayed. So, now when I start the engine, I turn off the leveling system and we're good. And if not, just pressing the two buttons mentioned in other posts does the trick.

Exclamation Here's how your wife could help out.

Or you do it if she's driving. I have a 2007 Hurricane, 15,000 miles.
ALWAYS always visually check each jack every time you raise or lower them. Do not rely on the electric panel. Too many times I've had them partially retract or extend when the panel said all was fine. Usually its a battery issue, even with the engine running.

This is the best of ideas.
Always check visually.

A $40 dash cam with a mobile app would let you do this from the drivers seat without regard for weather.

Please don't worry I have a 2016 Hurricane this is a 100% common know issue. Been full timing three years and this still happens to us occasionally. You just have to be patient leave the RV on for a few minutes, revving engine helps sometimes and trying again. Might take a few times of turning levelers on and off and trying again. Yes it is super annoying but never takes more than five to ten minutes to work itself out.

Thank you for your service, and welcome to the forum! And congratulations on your successful “initiation”! I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed reading this thread. Bob and Duck never disappoint in their witty replies I’m glad you received the help you needed. We are also first time RVers and I don’t think we would have survived this long without the help we have received from people in this forum. Please tell your wife not to fret. As everyone else has said, the only thing you can expect with owning an RV is that you will encounter the unexpected. It’s all part of the journey and the adventure. Good luck at your ball game!

Pam

I have 2018 windsport, really the same as Hurricane. Agree, I have to "re-set" on occasion just as described. Error messages are scary but re re-set technique always work for me.

Check these for leaks....clearance light on top front of cab. Those small round bulletin lights are a joke. Seal with Geocell Pro. If there is a magnetic satellite radio antenna, is it sealed with white dicor around it? If not it’s a water entry point. The trim piece where fiberglass front meets walls and roof. It covers screws. Make sure the edges are sealed. Again Geocell pro. Look for any voids in sealant. Finally, dealer can do a “pressure” test as well. But find it and fix it quick.

You won't like this:
I'm a big guy and I forced the damn thing back up the one time it got crooked on me.
I figured it's on gears and it wouldn't skip so I overcame the resistance and just made it go up.
Then I layed on the up switch a couple of times and it re-calc'd itself.

Someone else might have a more graceful way to do it.
Try their way first.

Where was the leak?

Good call. Everyone knows if you mess with the slide blinkers all the slides will pop out as you brake while driving. The fix for that is flushing the toilet to brake.

Had the same issue with mine. I was told to run it up and down and hold the button in for about 5 seconds when it reached the stops.
It fixed mine after 3 or 4 cycles.
According to the guy at lippert, you should always hold the button down for a few seconds to sync the bed and slides. Hope you have some luck..

over top of the cab where the front meets the actual roof. Hey what does it mean when it says to run the generator with load on it?
