Flush

Quick question,on my fifth wheel I could hear the black tank flush when hooked up,on my hurricane 35 m I can’t hear the flush and it seems like water is not flowing out like my old rv. Are flush systems different? It seems like I’m not flushing? Thanks

Exclamation

Chances are good the vacuum breaker/check valve on the black tank flush system either (1) was installed backwards, or (2) is defective. There's been many reports of the valve being installed backwards.

We have 35m 2020

You will hear it spaying at either black tank and you should see plenty of water draining if you have your valves open.

The “flush” on its own is farily worthless. I use it to fill the tank 80% with water and then open the valve to let it “flush” the debris with the water that way. Works much better than on its own.

Close your valve, start the water and wait 5 minutes. Then open the valve. If you don’t have several gallonyof water and debris coming out, your vacuum breaker is backwards.
