Has anyone installed a Safe T Plus on a 2018 Quantum with the 2017 350 Ford? We bought one to install but when we checked under our coach it looks like a shock absorber is installed on the passenger side. Wondering if it’s worth replacing that one for the SAFE T. Any thoughts?
That shock you see is a steering damper only. The safety plus is a self centering damper. Directions tell you to remove the steering damper first.
Is it worth it? I did it and made a world of difference! I can now change the radio stations and relax doing it. I'll tell you it was a pain to adjust it right but it was definetly worth it.
