Black Tank Issue Freedom Elite 29fe
Have had problems almost since purchased with getting black tank to drain. We do not poo in it nor put paper in it because of this. Purchased used so we don’t know about prior. We always keep plenty of water and toilet treatment in it and don’t pump until full. It’s full now. Rv mobile tech has tried from both inside and out. Coming back at 1st of week. We have tried everything. Snake, backwash, bladder. Each morning I am opening black valve. Very little out and leave open and lift drain hose a few times to get enough out of toilet to pee in the middle of the night. Do not use at all during the day. At our wits end...any thoughts

You have a second dump valve located on the passenger side behind the entry door.

That's what I was thinking.

Yes we do...still can’t get it to dump, though. Did figure out bath vanity is plumbed to black tank when water came into sink when tank over filled

Yep, standard Thor practice.
So both black tank valves are "open"?
Are you sure they are open? How hard are they to pull? If extremely easy then maybe the rod that moves the slide is no longer attached to the slide? There should be more resistance than a sliding rod in both the in and out direction.
If you close the upstream valve can you open the downstream valve and run a snake over to the upstream valve?

Yes, both open and hard to pull. When I pull to dump a little will come out then trickle. Water will go in from outside. This is how overflow in sink happened. I have researched and we’ve been doing everything we are supposed to do. Can’t figure it out

Unfortunately, Thor assemblers have been know to leave the hole cutouts for installing things like the toilet, in the tank where they tend to clog up the drain. I suspect this may be your problem. The only way to tell is to empty the tank and do a either a direct visual inspection or use a borescope to inspect the tank.

That is something we were told...problem is how to empty the tank to be able to get it out. Not enough room to put something large enough to catch almost 30 gallons of sewage. Weird think too, no odor except when it came up into sink. We have smelled odor before when tank was full

How about trying,to shove a hose back up into the tank?
(Think really gross colonoscopy... )
Just be prepared to yank that hose, and close the valve...

I don’t think a hose will make the turns to the tank. And yes, gross!

Maybe a 15 foot semi-rigid plumbers snake can be shoved back up the pipe to dislodge the disc?

Cap the end of the hose, and fill it with water.
That'll stiffen it up!

The host guy here ran a 15 ft snake down the toilet and also outside up the drain pipe..nothing. He even tried heavy Stihl blower up thinking if it was the plug it would move it...it worked his but not on ours! We are full timers and closest rv service 2 hrs away and booked out until mid march

It has an obstruction in the drain line some where, may have to hire a plumber with a bore scope and have him run it up through the line and find it.

Ha we experienced that, couldn’t get the tank to empty ended getting a mobile septic guy to come out and fix it.

You probably can use a pump down through the toilet to get it empty or nearly so before you start probing aggressively from the bottom. 30gallons of old sewage suddenly flowing doesn’t sound appealing. Good luck!

Perhaps a portable macerator?
