Love our 28H!

We have had our 2016 28H for 2 1/2 years and love it. We have been RVing since 1978 and really looked around before deciding on the Freedom Elite 28H. It had all the features we wanted (sofa, slide out and queen size bed). We don't need a lot of fancy creature comforts, just wanted a little more room than our 1998 Itasca Spirit 27' had.

We love the huge storage area in the back - it's easy to get out the camping chairs, corgi jail and bbq equipment. There have been a few minor issues but Mr. Homer is Mr. Fix It so it was not a problem.

Our experience with the Bakersfield, California Camping World has been very positive - our salesman was wonderful, has helped us after the sale when we had questions - everyone there was great.

i did not want to cut the original table so i got these

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and the new base. you might find it cheaper but it is like the original

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

i am very happy with it. can go in the forward position or the back position. it fits the original legs

We found a floor plan we liked and learned it is sold as both the "Freedom Elite 24HE" at Camping World (exclusively) and the "Four Winds 24F" elsewhere in the Houston Area. We found the 24F for approximately $7K less than the 24HE on a "this-is-our-best-deal" price, PLUS the F had an additional $5,100 worth of options that the HE did not have, making the F a $12,000 better choice
