EEZTire TPMS

I am considering buying the EEZTire TPMS. I can get it with "flow through" sensors, regular sensors, or mixed (6 flow through, 4 regular). I don't understand what a "flow through" sensor is or which is better. Any help or opinions will be appreciated. Thanks.

I have that system. I am pretty happy with it.

A flow thru sensor is one that has an air fitting on both ends. One end has internal threads, and goes to the valve stem of the tire, and the other end has external threads and allows you to add air without taking the sensor off. Your car's TPMS sensors are flow thru.

A standard sensor is more like a valve stem cap wherein it simply screws on the tire's valve stem. You have to remove the sensor to add air to the tire.

I have the standard sensors and they are not that much of an issue to remove periodically. And they are lower profile than the flow through sensors. Typically, I have to add air to the tires in the spring when I recommission the RV, and perhaps once in the late summer.

I think they are the same price for either sensor. So it depends on you want the convenience of not having to remove the sensor to add air to the tire vs. a lower profile sensor less prone to getting damaged.

The standard sensors also have an anti-theft option; I am not sure if the flow thru sensors have this capability. However, I removed the anti-theft mechanism (as described in the manual) to make the sensors even lower profile. I have not had any issue with theft, and removing the anti-theft mechanism makes it easier to remove the inner sensors for the dualies.

Thank you! That helps a lot. I think I will go with the lower profile sensors. Now I just have to figure out whether to use extenders on the inner duallies or not.
