2022 Vegas 24.1 is there a fuel shut off on the generator fuel line?

Had the generator serviced at dealer. After I was home I tried to start with BM panel as usual. It started, then the engine oscillated 3 times then quit, like a lawn mover running out of fuel. Oils good 3/4 vehicle fuel tank.
What gives.
Thank you in advance. I do have a call in to the dealer but you know how that goes.

I think he noted that as "3/4 vehicle fuel tank."

Need to verify the fuel pump is delivering fuel to the carburetor. If not, verify it's running, if not verify it has power to the pump; if not verify the fuse to the pump is good.

Generator 2022 Vegas 24.1

2022 Thor Vegas 24.1. Just had our generator serviced (oil change) at the dealership. Sat there about 5 weeks. Picked it up and started the generator. Ran for about 20 seconds, slowed down, then ran for another 20 seconds and shut off. Can’t restart generator. There is gas in the tank. Tried d/c fuel line at generator and primed the generator with the rocker switch and no fuel came out, even though I could hear the pump running. Is there a shut-off valve somewhere in the fuel supply line? Takes forever to get back into dealership so would rather troubleshoot myself. Any thoughts?

Understanding they just serviced it, my guess is the oil level is low.

Level the coach. Remove the yellow oil dipstick. Oil level is typically near overflowing the neck of the oil fill port... but you can verify by marks on the dipstick.

If you don't see oil, add until you get proper level.

Suggestion: Change your own generator oil ... it's actually easier than a lawnmower oil change.

It is very easy and you can add exactly what the specs call for instead of using the dip stick as your gauge. Most of them are off.

Any resolution on fuel not getting to genset? I just brought my 2017 Vegas 24.1 to Cummins because I was having same issues. They d/c fuel line and attached portable fuel tank. Generator ran fine. Cummins advised issue is with RV fuel line from main tank to generator.

They probably ran the fuel line across the top of the frame rail before they installed the floor.

As a follow up I had to draw fuel from the tank through the new filter with a syphon bulb, and finally got all the air out causing the issue with pump not pulling fuel. I also removed about 9 ounces of oil as it was overall The generator now starts easily the first or second try, depending on time between starts.
Thank you All
Jim
