All I can SUGGEST is to bare the two ends of a short piece of wire and jam it into J4 #8 and the other end into the wire of connector J5 #3; That way the wire is fused at 5 amps and if the brown wire circuit is faulty (J4 #8 - grounded) it will only blow a 5A fuse (F28). Jumpering this should pick up relay K1 when the ignition is "on".

This is ONLY a suggestive idea, something I would do (or similar) to keep going down the road. You do need Thors/Freightliners help with a schematic.
We're going to Sturgis tomorrow for at least a week. When I'm safely parked I will try the jumper if I can't find the root cause of the no power issue in the wire bundles. Thanks.

Good luck, drive safe and enjoy the bike rally... something I never did make it to in my riding years.

Hey thanks! Should be fun, lots to see around there too. I'll update this post if and when I resolve my electrical issue.

Quick update for those interested. Took a few days breather to run some errands.

I re-seated the ignition switch plug, but no change. Still no voltage at J4 pin8.

Talked to Freightliner and Thor. Didn't get much new info. Got a vehicle interface schematic from Freightliner, which makes no sense to me. The fuse control boards are on backorder from Thor, 4 weeks out.

I think I can get a multi meter probe angled in behind the ignition switch to check voltage heading to the accessory relay. I'm at least hoping the red wire is from the battery.

If I get brave I'll try the jumper if all else fails.

Not the print you want... Only hint I see here is where they mention a 20A fuse (F1-1), so if you can look at your chassis fuse panel(s) to see if you can find a "acc'y" fuse. Check the chassis owner's manual.
Oh, and the acc'y wire should be pink in color.

While awaiting a reply, I looked over the connector wires and found an interesting thing. Only the arrow-ed items are wired in. NO CB radio! Also the "Jacks" fuse goes no where... guess that is why they still work!
I would highlight the diagram and maybe even pull the fuses that are not used... leave a note on the diagram that they are not wired in. It would help in the future when hunting down a problem. The other connectors could be done this way also.

Thanks for all your help. My wife has lovingly encouraged me to resolve this issue ASAP!

I'm taking my rig to Freightliner in Rapid City, South Dakota on Friday. They were kind enough to squeeze me in. I'll have them check all the Freightliner components and hopefully rule out the chassis stuff.

Stay tuned.

Well good luck and have a safe drive!

See if you could also "squeeze" some of the schematics out of them, they would help you in the long run. I find very few prints online.

PROBLEM SOLVED! The technician at Freightliner was able to restore robust power to the K1 accessory relay. The dash a/c, windshield fans, mirror adjusters, etc., Are all working normal now. The wife is happy.

Directly below the ignition switch down the wire loom is a plug connector. The tech found loose and too short wires on the body builder (Thor) side of the plug. The wires were correctly re-seated with proper connectors and the plug connector was tie wrapped together (center of the photo).

Everyone's help and advice was spot on. The next logical troubleshooting step would have cured the problem. Thank you!Click image for larger version
