Fuses for things that don't exist on ACE

Ok, this is a bit strange.

I was trying to troubleshoot my hot water heater and when looking at the fuse block, it listed fuse 13 and 14 being for macerator and tank heaters. Neither of which the ACE 30.3 has.

So, I go and grab the electrical diagram I got from Thor, and it also lists macerator and tank heaters in the fuse box.

What gives?

Are they for storage tank heaters?

many manufacturers use 'stock' fuse diagrams/boards for various different models throughout their line... some have these features, some don't, but the board is designed for use in both.
I have some in mine as well, as the Tuscany model may have heated floors, my Palazzo does not, etc... but there is a fuse holder space regardless.

And to be clear, there are fuses in these two spots. So, not only is it labeled as two items I don't have, but there are fuses in those two spots.

The fuse block may be common to multiple models and it certainly is common to all variants of your model. I.e. if some equipment was optional it will be represented on the fuse block even if you don’t have those options. It’s perhaps a bit unusual to have fuses in those slots if you don’t have that feature but hardly surprising or troublesome given the way our machines are made. It’s easier to use a fully equipped fuse block than to individually configure them. It doesn’t really hurt anything as long as everything else is normal. You likely will find that the wiring harness is there for those items too just not connected to any equipment at the other end.

I ran into the same thing on a 2016 Freedom Elite. Fuses were in place but no wires connected to the fuse block.

With the external kitchen, you get a macerator and an inverter. Some ACEs come with external kitchens. My coach has a fuse and wring for a front shade and a bedroom vent fan but none were installed.

The 30.3 has the external kitchen and has a macerator pump to pump water from the external sink. It is lower than the other water drains and will not gravity drain - must be pumped. That may be what the moderator fuse is for.

That should be macerator fuse, I detest autocorrect.

Never thought of that as a macerator pump, but instead was thinking of that as a water pump. That makes sense now that you point it out.

Any thoughts on what it lists as heating pads?

I don't know what that other fuse is. The only reason I knew that was a macerator pump was when I was sanitizing the fresh water system right after I bought the motor home, the external sink wouldn`t drain, so I called Thor and asked what was wrong. The guy on the phone told me nothing was wrong and that I needed to turn the macerator pump on and explained it to me. There is a switch on the bottom of the overhead panel. I turned it on and it sucked the water right out of the sink.
