Question Garage Space

Good afternoon...We are interested in purchasing a Thor Outlaw - possibly a 37RB. We want to be able to haul two adult ATVs -side by side in the garage but we are unsure of the interior width dimensions of the garage especially with those jack knife sofas present. Does anyone have knowledge if it is possible or how it is possible to fit two adult ATVs side by side in the garage space? If two adult ATVs don't fit side by side in the 37RB, is there a Thor Outlaw model that would work better or do you have any recommendations of another RV we should consider? Thank you in advance for your help.

Assuming that the quads are 48" wide; lose the couches, and you'll have a tight fit.
And welcome to the Forum also!

Hi Phabby

According to the Thor specs for Outlaw 37RB, the width in the garage is exactly 96 inches wide(wall to wall) and 122 inches long. You will need to measure your quads for their width to determine if they will fit side by side.

Paul

With a 10 foot garage: he'll have some room to stagger them.
Tight: but it'll work.

But the Outlaw does not have a 10' wide garage, no toy hauler does. Outside width is limited to 8'6".

The RB model has a ten-footer. (In length)
Even my little 29H had a nine foot garage...

Thank you Bob, Ace and Paul....It will be super tight. Only about 3" wiggle room in terms of width if the sofa is removed. Staggering front to back might help such that the wheels of each are not aligned.

Pull the first one in, and angle it across the front. Pull the second one in, and angle it in the same manner.

Your jacknife sofa lays flat, then is electrically raised up and is out of the way. I have the MB and carry the wife's can am and my Indian Roadmaster. Tight fit because of her can am, bit it works. I actually removed the black back panel swing doors that you normally use to divide the back porch and garage and stored them in the pass through storage. That gave me more space to maneuver the bike and trike.

Yes, the jacknife sofa/dinette folds flat and then raises up to the ceiling. The 10 foot x 8 foot garage should allow you to easily load two quads side by side but perpendicular to the unit. Be sure to tie them down good so you don't damage your walls while driving. You may want to build some chocks to eliminate all movement. Removing those screen doors in the back will also increase your maneuvering space considerably. Mine fits a small Polaris Ranger perfectly, with chocks to prevent it from hitting the sliding glass door going forward. At the same time I can put in two kayaks and then two bicycles and sometimes firewood in the back of the Ranger. We couldn't live without our toy hauler! Gotta have toys! HAPPY CAMPING!
