Generator start switch doesn't work

I got a Dutchmen 31f that I just got the generator running (needed a new fuel pump), but now I see the generator start switch in the coach doesn't work. Priming and stopping work from the switch in the coach work, but not start.

I was trying to find a wiring diagram for the switch but haven't found one. Does anyone have one or have an idea of where I should look?

Remove and clean the contacts on the plug to the remote switch - common issue.

I checked the plug at the generator and the connectors on the back of the switch and all look nice and clean.

Jump your dash or inside switch and see if it is the issue

as a newbie (me)...

I had the same problem and found out my battery inside stepwell was discharged. I added a second battery and now keep it plugged in to garage, 110. But did cure problem before having plugin adapters by turning the power off at night.
I'm considering a solar panel to keep them charged in storage.

Battery in living area had to be charged to start the generator. Starting the vehicle for several minutes did the job.
