Ripped off by GetUpside gas discount App!!

I heard an ad on Sirius XM, Fox News, for GetUpSide, a gas discount app. I signed up and when I used it the first time it all worked as advertised.
The 2nd time, it offered me a 23 cent per gallon discount. I “claimed” my discount and went to the gas station within an hour. Their gas price was about 12 cents higher than gas down the same street so the discount seemed worth it.
2 days later Upside only credited me for 1 cent per gallon instead of the 23 I was offered. Customer Service said the station must have raised their prices!! But they already gave me a quoted discount. They would not give me the discount I had claimed so cost me 11 cents a gallon more than nearby stations had.

Well now that is annoying! Have heard ads for them in different places, but never took the bait. Thanks for sharing that.
