Here is what the control/monitor panels look-like on the bathroom wall.

How did you run the wires to that wall. I just went easy and installed under the bed

Suggestion... mount the available remote readout monitor in your outside electrical bay [ or the closest bay to your plugin] .. that way You can monitor the power when you first plug into a pedestal.

I also installed my hardwired EMS (Progressive Industries EMS-HW50C between the ATS and the breaker panel.

There have been instances where generators have had power output issues. A transfer switch is a heck of a lot cheaper than an A/C unit or fridge so that is why I wired it that way.

I've had a portable PI 50 amp that hung at a pedestal somewhere across the country since '05, not locked up to the post, used on 3 different 5th wheels & never grew legs.

Glad to read that!
But since I sell insurance, and have too much experience with Mr. Murphy and his rotten law: mine gets chained in place.

Thor MC plant 750 engineers had enough foresight to run an electrical chase from under the bed, around behind the toilet, under the sink cabinet and up the hollow bathroom wall. The same path was used by the factory to install the inverter remote. Since it is an old house design, there are electrical passages between most low voltage things. The 120 volt wiring is through the floor and along the chassis rails and up through the bedroom floor. Thus, it was easy to run the new heat pump wiring to the new bedroom thermostat but a pain to run the Romex for the heat pump to the power center. Now to figure-out the wiring for the Coleman 9XXX digital zone thermostat that will replace the two separate thermostats.

Just had my 5 year old Progressive 30AMP internal mount surge suppressor die. Was very impressed that Progressive replaced it on warranty - no questions asked! Im back up and running.
