HDMI cable in bedroom

We have an HDMI cable in the bedroom overhead storage and wondering where it leads to? The service advisor at the dealership didn't know. I do know that we have a dvd player in the cabinet above kitchen sink but I would think this is connected to the TV in dining area only but not sure. We will be installing a TV in the bedroom. We have a 2018 Thor Four Winds 28Z and going on our first RV trip next week.

If you're selling Thor motorhomes shouldn't you have a "Hotline" number to Thor to get questions like this answered for customers???

How hard would it have been for a good salesman to do this?

I would 'assume' that it leads back to your 'box of many buttons'(sometimes referred to as an 'entertainment console' switchbox), that allows you to choose which TVs see what type of signal - Antenna, Cable, or DVD player(which may be a central DVD mounted above the kitchen sink area for you).
Many manufacturers may be supplying TV areas with an HDMI cable now, versus the traditional COAX cable, as mine has.

Thor plant 650 is not known for their consistency in wiring. It seems running changes occur through the year. Anyway all HDMI cables should terminate in the cabinet with the BOMB or DVD player and lead to every TV location even if one is not installed.

Thanks. I'll check when I get our RV back from the dealership. It just seems odd to have an hdmi cable in the overhead storage when the TV for the bedroom is 6 feet across from it with no hdmi connection for it. Just a coax cable input.

On a 2015 Hurricane all the HDMI cables terminate in the cabinet above the dinette. Look in the location where your TV antennae amplifier is located. there may also be an electronic switch box that distributes HDMI Signals, IE, on mine I have a blue ray player and a Tivo DVR connected to it.

On my 24F the rear TV HDMI terminates in the cabinet above the fridge. This cabinet is separate from the entertainment cabinet where the front HDMI terminates.

Yup. I couldn’t see the point. I put a small DVD player on a shelf near the bedroom tv and skipped the Thor wiring entirely
