Help! No elec. From generator.

We are on the road and stopped at a rest stop and realized we have no power to ac or outlets with generator running. What can I look for in our Windsport 29M?

Check the breaker(s) on the generator itself. If not tripped it may be your automatic transfer switch or the wiring connections to it.

When this happened to my generator, I had to have an electrical/electronics specialist shop diagnose it. He replaced some of the relays before he got the correct one. Unfortunately, it took them 3 months before I got it back. You would have to know how each relay or resistor works and there values inside that generator in order for you to fix it yourself.

It's been two days: I wonder if they found and fixed the problem yet?

I wasn't on the road when my generator went out. Once I located a place that worked on portable units, I took mine out figuring that it would be faster service if I took the unit to a generator place. It's just like trying to get your coach inside a shop for service. They took their time. I missed three racing events that I wanted to attend that year.

it's simple: the generator's breakers tripped.

I have a 2014 ACE 27.1. Does anyone know where the transfer switch is located in this rig?

Right behind the fuse/breaker panel.

I have a,2016 ace 27.1 and it's behind the breaker panel underneath the dinette seat. Take the cushion and seat bottom up to get to it.
