If you have an Axerra TV, set input to TV. Then go into menu(all the way to the right) and make sure the input is set to "cable" and not "air". I always do an auto-scan to find all of the available channels.
Also, antenna booster must be off. Mine is a button in the kitchen cabinet-green light should be off.
This works on my Thor Vegas.

You have to go in the settings of the tv and select cable and make sure the tv booster is off.

We have been in many parks, altho no KOAs, however, we have had excellent cable reception and close to Why even say you have free cable reception. Once place we stayed in the low channels were in a snow blizzard, the rest were great. It was a problem with the underground. Another place has great reception in one loop and crappy in another one. It is not always the TV.

Have you hit the switch that changes from cable to antenna? We found out after many frustrating days about it. I believe it was one of the forum's that set us on the right path.

Red face Cable TV

That same thing happened to us in a KOA Campground. We were told by the KOA staff that it was because we did not have an HD tv. Not sure if that was true or not. We only stayed for 2 nights so we did not pursue it.

TV signal problems

Could also be a problem with KOA. Stayed at a local KOA over July 4th a couple of years ago. The area was supposed to have new Wi-Fi and cable system. Both didn't work. Only one park I have ever stayed at that had a decent cable picture - brand new system at Cannon Beach RV park in Oregon. Otherwise the norm has always been a less than perfect picture.

We had that issue with our 2017 Four Winds. Anntenna booster was not he issue. Seems the 3 Seiki TVs do not have a digital converter (not sure of the correct name) so we needed to get a new TV. Uhg

The booster must be "off" for cable, "on" for antenna, go to the tv "set up menu", switch to appropriate input, "scan channels", these steps must done every time you relocate or switch input.
It was our experience that typically we got more channels with better quality picture with the antenna rather than park cable systems, but we had a hi def tv with a digital antenna.

In our Class C and the fifth wheel most Cable TV hookup were ok, but some had snow. I installed a cable TV signal booster and it fix the problem. Psrk cable to booster input, cable booster output to rig cable in.

On my Gemini, there's a really small button on the HDMI splitter that you need to press.

Every time you move form rv park to park you have to rescan for the channels. Go into the TV menu, antenna, cable and autoscan. you will find your channels.
of course this is predicated nothing else is wrong. try that and see if it works.

An HDMI Splitter has nothing to do with Cable TV.

This thread is a classic example of:
1. People not reading the replies before jumping in, leading to many duplicate posts, or worse yet, answering a problem that has already been fixed; and
2. A newcomer jumping in with their own problem, similar to the OP's problem, leading to multiple answers, and not knowing who is answering whom.

Cable TV Issue

If you have he factory installed Seki TV's they are your problem.
They do not have QAM Tuners and will not work on digital cable systems.
We had to buy new TV's, Insigna for $90 at Best Buy.
google Qam Tuners some other manuf. also have them.

Your Antenna Button/switch

Make sure that your antenna button or switch is in the “cable” position.

Cable TV Connection

I had the same problem with our 2016 Thor 31L coach, which has an external connection for cable tv clearly marked. As it turns out, this external connection is connected to absolutely nothing as far as the TVs go. I took out one of the TVs and it clearly has an antenna connection plugged in (which goes through an amplifier), but that is it.

Now I have to find the place on the inside of the coach where this cable jack is accessible because on the outside of the coach it is directly behind the toilet. What a design.

I was a mod on a car forum 15 years ago. I know how things work. This forum seems to be worse than others.
