Hot water tank

2021 hurricane and having an issue with hot water tank not igniting on electric power. Checked circuit breaker and hear a clicking sound when trying to ignite. Runs ok on gas.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

There is no "igniting" on electric, it uses a 120 VAC heating element just like your home water heater. IF you hear clicking when only the electric is turned on then you have bigger (controller) problems.
