Sanitizing Water System

Hey RVers- new to RVing- so I've a question about sanitizing my Palazzo's fresh water tank. How do you add the bleach solution to the tank since the MH doesn't have a gravity fill port? I saw an online video that added bleach into the fresh water filter cannister (after removing filter) and then flushed the bleach into the tank using fill tank hose. Anyone familiar with that method or have better suggestions? Also- do you by-pass the hot water tank? Thanks for any help.

Removing the filter before adding bleach is absolutely necessary because some filters will take it out. You can put the bleach in the filter housing (easiest way) or hook your hose to faucet, pour bleach in empty hose and connect to coach. Either way you have to remove the filter first.

Sanitize/Winterize Valve

Thanks all for the input. Solution was easier than I thought. I do have a question particular to the Palazzo Wet Bay- the water inlet valve has settings for Fill Tank, City Fixture, Normal and Sanitize/Winterize. What is the significance or use of the Sanitize/Winterize valve setting? The owners' manual makes no mention of it. Again- thanks for your help.

You can call Thor and ask them, because I honestly don't know. If you call customer service they're usually pretty nice and can give you the right information rather than someone just guessing.

2014 Challenger KT37, can and how do I use the inlet hose/valves to sanitize the fresh water holding tank. The hose I am talking about is in the compartmen near the rear of the coach passenger side.

Don’t have that model or valve, but I presume that in the winterize/ sanitize position you will be able to use the house pump to draw directly from a bottle or container (either the pink stuff or a bleach solution).
