hydraulic leveling jack leaking
One of my leveling Jack is dripping fluid from the bolt on the bottom. I have a 2022 Thor ace 30.3. Has this happened to anyone and is it still covered under warranty?

How would anyone here know if your problem is covered under warranty?
How the heck would we know your date of purchase or the mileage of your rig?

If I were you, I’d write down the year make model, and purchase date. Call Lippert customer service. Explain the problem. Be ready to email pics. Might be something as simple as tightening the hydraulic line going into the jack.

Try tightening the bolt or fitting

No, responding to the question in the manner it so rightfully deserves. Maybe the next post will be realistic in the question asked.

You should be able to completely remove the bolt on the bottom without any leakage if you are talking about the one on the bottom of the ram that holds the foot on. If you see fluid there it likely came from the seal on the ram and down the ram to that bolt.

It's his FIRST POST. Cut him a little slack.

Certainly merits a call (or email) to Thor customer service (or your selling dealer) to ask what they suggest. It might be a simple fix, and then again, it might not.

If it was my coach, I check the hydraulic connections and see if they are tight. If the ram itself or a hose is leaking contact your dealer. As new as your coach is it should be under warranty.
Also, it usually is really friendly around here.

You said your coach is a 2022 model which should be under warranty. You have one year from date of purchase for new coaches. I would have the dealership handle the issue.

It needs to be fixed, take it to a Thor dealer.

I agree with the recent replies --- probably still under warranty, probably still covered by warranty, and a dealer should fix the leak. Let me add something. I was able to get my Thor factory warranty issues fixed at my local RV shop. I much preferred my shop to the dealer. I called Thor customer support and explained my feelings to them. They agreed. I got the repairs done at my shop. I paid my shop and submitted the paid invoice to Thor customer support, which they reimbursed me in a couple of weeks. I did this multiple times with Thor customer support during my factory warranty period. Sometimes they reimbursed my within a few days, sometimes within a few weeks. I think it depends on which customer support rep handles your case. One last thing, do keep all your communications with Thor well documented in writing (emails).
