Easier might be(because I remember the gas cap posts being full of misinformation) taking the gas cap to the local car parts chain and making sure you buy what you already have.

I just bought the Vegas 24.1 this week. Fuel cap was the second thing I noticed. The lack of a foot rest for my left foot was the first.

I got the one I use off Amazon for my A.C.E. 27.1. Look up locking for Ford F53. I left the old on there by not cutting the tether and wrapping it around the base of the fuel inlet. I use one on my car also. My 4 motorcycles came with them stock.

An Axis is NOT on an F53 chassis.
