Dave, I am recovering from knee replacement (imagine that). So my coach is being serviced for ankle biter stuff. However here is the type of latch put on, this one is from Camping World. Heavy Duty Push Latch - RV Designer H316 - Cabinet Hardware - Camping World

Thanks.

Those are the same latches that were on all the drawers and cabinet doors in my Class C. I have a pack of about 4 that I had purchased for spares so I'll have to give them a shot.

I was thinking about them but didn't know if they would work due to the weight behind the pantry.

Have you had any issues with the inner dome on the shower skylight? On mine the plastic is coming loose from the frame. It appears to be held on with double sided tape that is loosing its stick.

Hopefully the recovery is going well. So far no problems with the knees but my back took a beating while I was in 10th Mountain and every now and again will give me some issues.

Bigben -- the latch on my Vegas bottom kitchen cabinet drawer failed. The catch piece on the right of your pix does not open and close. Thanks for the CW part number. The Tampa CW is about 1 mile from the Hard Rock Casino. Have to run out and get some latches next time we go to the casino.

The same one failed on our Axis. The campingworld part bigben linked to is the exact same part used in the Vegas/Axis (fortunately I have a campingworld about 5 miles from our house).

A lesson I learned on my Class C was the piece on the right (the catch) has a latch that swivels to basically lock and unlock the drawer. If the drawer or cabinet door is opened and the latch is inadvertently pushed in it will break if someone tries closing the drawer or door. Both myself and my wife were guilty of that and are the reason I have a pack of spares in the parts box.

As a note, they are made by RV Designer and come in 2 variations. There is a 5 pound pull (PN H315) and a 10 pound pull (PN H316). The CW price for them is around 11.50 but they are available around the web for under $7.00. Google RV Designer H316 and you'll find them all over.

JR Products also makes a variation of the kit and their part number is 70435.

This latch comes in varying force requirements. Heavy, medium and lot. It is a measure of the force required to open the latch. Our pantry is really heavy so our service team put the heavy ones on.
