Yep, your right. Need something that can do both camping and tailgating well.

I like having a dedicated bed out at all times.

Both this one and the 24.2 struck me as a tailgating RV: One you took to the game where you could entertain quite a few people (especially since the 24.2 had a big counter good for preparing and serving food).

Problem is: I don't think there is a big market for that kind of usage (and only that kind of usage). People probably wanted more of a general layout that can be used for camping, tailgating, etc. than one dedicated to that one purpose.
I agree that most buyers, particularly of Class As, want dedicated beds. I also think, however, that there is a difference between couches that can be converted to beds, and real beds that can be occasionally used for sitting.

The 25.5 floorplan is an example. Like a day bed, it’s primarily a mattress you can sit on. The 24.1 can certainly be revised to provide an additional sitting area away from the front sitting area. I expect it would be used as a lounge only as needed occasionally. A 24~25 ft Class A isn’t large enough for more than 4 people most of the time in my opinion.

I agree.. You can always tow the grille to the Stadium behind your minivan.

I wish they would build a Class C with a 4 door chassis.

Thats a great Idea. Well you see some of the radical off road 4X4 Four door C class sometimes... But most of those start at like $300K + and are extremely rugged.

They already have three doors: where do you want the fourth one put?
(Escape hatch from the bedroom or bathroom?)

Well one way to have a 4 door Class C would be to make it a 4-door Super C and just use the crew cab portion of the pickup chassis. Of course you're adding a good 4 ft or so to the chassis length with that.

But you could probably put a full-sized king overhead bunk in it!

Sometime you will see some custom 6 door 4X4 pickups.... It would be pretty aweome if they slapped a C class body on that one and had 6 captains chairs so you can walk inbetween them.

Then you can fit like TWO queens over the cab for sleeping. Or have one of those telescopic roof (like a pop up Trl) and have a full bedroom on top of the cab when parked?

The second row chairs could slide back and recline.

Yeah, and have seat heaters and messager built in. They can also have a power lift to take you up to the new over head King bed.

I need to stop day dreaming.

Im still waiting for thor to make a convertable RV like I posted last week. .

I know what your thinking. Did he grill five burgers or did he grill six? Well, to tell tell you the truth in the heat of the moment, I kinda lost track myself. But being as this is the most bestest BBQ GRILL capable of feeding ever one of the graduating class at my Redneck high school (ya' ll remember how many is that?), you gotta ask yourself, ya want a Bee, uhh a Coke with that?
