Looks like they are advertizing for 2020 models now
Well it looks like they are advertizing for "2020" models now....Motor home Specialist (one of Thor Forum advertizers) shows Two diff C classes "on order".
Any word on others Thor RV? ..... Esp. Axis / Vegas?
I think someone mentioned here they might drop that line? Lots of nice C's and B+ now around the same size.

I think they will use the new V8 in 3/4 and 1 ton trucks first.

Yeah, I figured the new V8 will be used in the F trucks first (along with the new tranny) the maybe a year a two later the E chassis will get this engine/Tranny?
Only time will tell.

I think they are droping the Axis/Vegas lineup..... When I use to search Camping World's website in the past they always had one or two at my local dealer and about 30 of them within about a 200 miles radius of me. Now when you search I might find 3 (or was it 4) and one of them was used 2018 model.
My local CW has not stocked one for over 6 mo now. They used to sell one then about two or 3 weeks later they will have one or two new ones come in over the last two years.
This makes me think they are dropping this lineup.... and it make me sad.

Perhaps CW is dropping the line but not Thor. Search other dealers than CW.
(Note that MSHRV had that 2020 on order, General RV lists a whole bunch of Axis/Vegas units on order.)

Yeah, you may be right. CW might have dropped it.
Well I been watching that advertisement (on the Forum) for MSHRV and seen everything BUT the A/V RV's. Last week I did a serch for 2020 A/V on MSHRV with zero results. I will try again this week (I will check General).
Did they show the new colors/decor?
Happy days are here again.... Thanks for the update.

Still showing only three Axis/Vegas floor plans in production, and cost of 2020 unit at MHSRV appears a few percent higher.
I would love to know what Thor’s longer-term marketing plan is for the Axis/Vegas. Larger and more expensive, so they compete directly with larger Class As, seems risky to me.
They’ve had so many floor plans come and go that they should at least try one design slightly smaller than the original. Who knows, if done right it may be as successful as the 24.1 floor plan.

Yep, I hope they keep the A/V around for a long time. I think it fills a nitch for the small A class RV.... and its so darn cute. LOL.
Yeah a Small 23.1 (24 foot) for you and a medium (or large?) 26 - 27 footer with TWO slide for me.
I like the 27.7 floor plan but no outside storage compared to my 25.4 so I will stick with what I have.

I don’t know how Thor would take about a foot off length of a 24.1 floor plan, but maybe Hymer engineers and designers can help them figure it out since they do it all the time.
It seems to me that keeping the Ford 176” E-Series OEM wheelbase (versus stretched 188”) would be a great place to start. That’s got to save cost and improve quality some. And maneuverability would be similar to longest pickups (crew cab long bed).
I’d like them to keep the Twin/King beds at rear, but modified to douldle as a lounge area like on previous 25.5 floorplan. If you don’t need the extra lounge space you can leave them as beds, but you’d have the option to entertain a bunch of people occasionally at games, races, family trips, etc.
I’d like to see a split bath so half the kitchen isn’t in an aisle across from bathroom. Toilet and sink on driver side, with shower on passenger side for proper drainage of course.
Finally, I’d save length by utilizing four captains chairs up front, all with swivel bases. A table on each side can fold up between captains chairs to make 2 X 2-person dinettes, much like private jets.
With four captains chairs up front, and entry door just behind them, the overhead bed can be made queen size for two instead of the twin bed on existing Axis/Vegas. That provides comfortable touring and sleeping space for up to 4 in a smaller package. If you need more space, buy a bigger rig, but there are a lot of couples who travel alone 90+ percent of time. There’s got to be a market out there for a “Touring” Axis/Vegas floor plan.
Basically, I’d like to see Thor build a Hymer Class A version of an Axis/Vegas.

Yeah that sounds good..... When the Axis/Vegas first came out the had something simular to what you just mentioned.... The rear was like a U shape dinette area (folded to a qeen size bed?) and had one (or two?) extra captains chairs in the middle with a fold out table. It was real intresting.

Ok came across the new 2020 Axis at MHSRV (no pictures yet).
"New features for 2020 include the Winegard Connect 2.0 WiFi, rotary battery disconnect switch, adjustable shelving bracketry, BM Pro Multiplex system, and a Dometic 2 burner cooktop with glass cover."
I think the 2019 had the Multi plex but maybe this "BM PRO" is new and improved?
Did the 2019 have a singler burner gas and a single burner induction cook top?
And Finally a better rotor disconnect knob.

Not on same unit. The 24.2 had the two captains chairs on passenger side, with fold away table between them, but that floor plan had no bedroom. It didn’t do well.
The floor plan with rear bed/lounge was more of an “L” shape couch that had to be made into a bed. The one we looked at was not easy to convert, made for an uncomfortable bed, and ended up as a corner bed. Not a popular design either.
Devil is in the details. A lot of stuff looks good in a showroom, but isn’t practical to use every day.
For what it’s worth, what I suggested above was a similar arrangement as the two captains chairs on the 24.2, but where the driver and passenger seats are the two front chairs for dual dinettes.

As a visual, I’d like to see the driver, passenger, and two extra captain chairs up front. Space between them would be greater than in this picture due to wider RV body. The rear-twin-bed lounge can serve for larger groups to eat together on one table if needed. I like 2 X 2-person dinette seating best because no one is blocked in.

There also was the 25.1 floorplan as well:
Both this one and the 24.2 struck me as a tailgating RV: One you took to the game where you could entertain quite a few people (especially since the 24.2 had a big counter good for preparing and serving food).
Problem is: I don't think there is a big market for that kind of usage (and only that kind of usage). People probably wanted more of a general layout that can be used for camping, tailgating, etc. than one dedicated to that one purpose.
