Has anyone found a good Cup or better yet glass holder for the front cupholders on Challenger class A. Looking for something better.

Thanks KC

Looking for some ourselves. I just ordered one from Amazon that looks promising, will let you know what I think after it arrives and I try it out.

We use these in our ACE 30.1 which likely has the same shallow “not cup holders” as the Challenger. The bottom smaller diameter section is a hollow extension to the cup holder section. I cut off the bottom section and then use Velcro to attach the cup holders to the bottom of the indendentation that Thor thinks is a cup holder. They work quite well.

That’s exactly the one I ordered! Could only get one though, as it said that’s all they have left.

I bought 4 schedule 40 pipe fittings from Lowes and painted them black. They fit into the low "cup holders" already there and big cups fit into them.

Yep, that's a 4" adapter, but what size does it adapt to? Lowes has a bad habit of leaving critical dimensions out of their specifications.

It is a 4" to 6" adapter

What's that adapt it to? A soup bowl?

Further research says that the model number you linked to is a 4" DWV TO 4" SEWER AND DRAIN ADAPTER

I would think you would need something in the 2" range to fit in the bottom of the Thor cup holder.

A little pricey, but these worked great. I tried PVC and didn't find one that I thought fit well. One my ACE, for the cupholder on the drivers side and the two closest to the dash on the doghouse, you put the 3" side down, and it essentially forms a cupolder that 3" and flares out to 3.5".

Tall enough to hold bottles, and wide enough to hold large fast food drinks.

On the other two doghouse cup holders, these can also be used, but in reverse, where the wide part goes in cup holder, so the top would be narrower 3" than the bottom, but still good for bottles.

This is a radiator hose reducer, so you might be able to get it at an auto parts store, but I will say I ordered two brands in from Amazon, both 3.5 to 3" reducers and the other one was much more flimsy and didn't fit, where this one is perfect.

Here is a thread that we related our experience with the cup holders. The modification does a super job.

Cup holder solution

I used 3” pvc couplers, painted them with gloss black paint. They look nice and work great. They fit Nice and snug inside of the original holders.

We did the same except we painted them flat black to match the existing cup holders. They work very well!
