Grab a cup o java n Lets talk

Prices....
Then we can move on to politics and religion (insert henny youngman rim shot here)

And please tell me if I dropped the toupee in the punch bowl here and delete the thread but

I have noticed that the actual price of the units are approx 30 - 35% off Msrp
After that I notice, like in my case I still bargain and pay less than that
What should I expect to actually pay for the unit?
My new soon to have new owner c invoice to dealer showed they paid 14,000 less than msrp and they listed it at 12'000 below the cost (28k off Msrp so far if you are keeping score ) and I offer 5k less than that!
Erudite forumites please explain what I would pay for a unit at lemonitus world or any dealer for example (but get serviced elsewhere that's if u lemonitus )?

Every unit and every dealer is different, but after all the discounts and negotiations I paid about 60% of the posted MRSP for my 2018 Thor ACE 29.4. Find one they really want to sell that meets your needs and negotiate your best deal. Keep negotiating until they will let you walk away and you are about at their bottom number. Good luck.

Thanks for responding
Not trying to get too personal with peeps but I'm just trying to understand the industry with all its nuances

The whole thing kinda crazy to me
Strange
And I'm curious how the new perceived PR
That the demand is so high all of a sudden
Wow! That can only mean customer service gets BETTER LOL

the forumites here have been so helpful and I haven't given y'all 100,000$? (way more than the person selling me a product)
Maybe I should?
For sure bevedfelkers axis book is worth that x2

52% of MSRP here. Admittedly, the price is what drove me to close the deal.

Thanks
One other thing I've noticed (other than std new versus used/build dates / quality same on million dollar vs 10,000 units/ and now prices) is the smaller size coaches (to a certain point) are counterintuitively more expensive

Go figure
Maybe that means the quality goes down as the size goes up?
IDK😴

Probably not, it is more like what the market will bear. e.g. they cost more because people are willing to pay more.

When it was all said and done we paid around 60 percent of the MSRP as well. For us, it felt like a good deal as well as we got what we wanted but didn't break the bank.

Another way to see is to check RV Trader or other used RV sites and look at last year's models being sold, that kind of gives a measuring stick as to value after it has been driven off the lot.

My dealer had the Prce set at 75% of retail...
We got them down to 65%, and felt pretty happy with the deal.

I am going to join this discussion, as I am not sure where to begin.
We LOVE our 2016 Axis 24.1 Today, we returned from a 10 day trip. This motorhome just gets better and better...we are just shy of 15k miles and the transmission gets smarter and smarter with each outing.
Anyone who has followed this forum for more than 2 years knows that we participate and have made just about all the Mods to this unit..upgrades in the bathroom (lever faucet, corner storage and shower faucet upgrade)/kitchen sink cover/step cover/vent covers/Sumo Springs/Sat TV/,macerator and more.

This is difficult...Ron has decided, due to age and uncertain health future, that we should sell our Axis.

Anyone interested, please pm me. K
