Unhappy Miramar Full Slide Issues

We have just purchased a 2018 Miramar 34.2 less than month ago. We got it home opened slide cleaned and put slide back in. Moved motor home to storage for a week to keep it covered. Then moved back to house opened slide and packed motorhome on battery, no power connection. Now slide will only go in an inch at a time. Connected to power slide will still not go in but and inch and stop. We inched slide back in moved back to storage replaced house batteries with new batteries. Still same issue and inch at a time in or out. Checked Lippert controller 8 blinking red lights and 2 green light. Reset controller by disconnecting power. Still no fix. Any suggestions before we hall this beauty off to a repair shop. (I’m so sad haven’t even camped in it and already have trouble)

You have a Hall effect error. Each slide motor has Hall eff3ct sensor. The controller uses the difference in the two signals to keep the slide's motors in sync. The usual problem is a motor power cable that is rubbing on one of the slide's racks. There can also be a sensor failure in the motor. If you have a Hall effect error, the motors will still work but only if you put the controller into the emergency mode. Remember the emergency mode disconnects all of the controller's safety measures and should only be use as a last resort.
