MPG on ACE , Windsport/Hurricane?
Looking to get our 1st MH. Features/Price will determine which one.
But, I'm curious what kind of MPG do you get on the ACE 27.1
and the Hurricane/Windsport 27k?
Thanks.

As a kid in the 80's I asked my dad what mileage motorhomes get.
He just said that they all get about the same as his 1965 Lincoln Continental or his 71 Mk IIIs, (he used to restore/collect/sell them, over a dozen of them). About 6mpg on a good day, maybe up to 9mpg depending on if they are going downhill, and have a good backwind.
And then there is the universal sarcastic motorhome MPG answer: "If you have to ask, you probably should not own one".

My 27k was getting 7.5- 8 at first but got near 9 last time out. Have about 4500 miles on it now. No tow, drive 60-65mph.

Milage on Thor ACE 27.1
10,000 miles, 60-65 mph, no toe, getting 8.5-9.0 mpg.

I don't think you will find much difference in gas mileage between the three; they are all built on the same 18,000lb F53 chassis. Eight~nine MPG seems about right for a sub-30ft Class A.
I get 9.5~10MPG on my rig. Being a Class C, it's a bit lighter. But perhaps it's how I drive as well; I usually keep it under 60MPH.
On the other hand, I used to get 0.8MPG with my last boat... so I suppose it's all relative.

Lol, let's face it we ALL know the reason boats get such horrible mileage is there is nothing between idle and Full throttle! Lol

There is probably some truth to that.
My boat would consume 50 GPH at WOT, at a speedy 30MPH... of course with even worse gas mileage.
In contrast, I am really thrilled with 9MPG in the RV.

We just went 3500 hundred miles from Illinois to Arizona. First check was 10MPG then I forgot about it. On the way back going through NM, Ok and Mo. we actually got around 12MPG. Now I have a Four Winds 23U 25 Ft. long with Ford V10. I drove around 65 MPH.
