Read a post about Snap Pads and/or homemade alternatives wherein levelers that retract by springs can be overwhelmed by additional weight and have trouble retracting. I asked a Snap Pad representative who said they have never heard of any such problem. Perhaps the OP had some other issues with their system that contributed to his complaint but it gave me pause.

I bent the crap out of two of the feet. Got new ones and Snap Pads. Stopped the bending of the feet. I really like them.

I got snap pads 3 years ago. They work great

Now I had problems installing mine. They were to big and I could snap them on and off by hand

Talk to the rep and measured the metal pad. Well mine were about 1/2" smaller. Of course not snap pads problem/fault. Rep checked all specs of my levelers but lucky me mine were different then what the speaks called for. Who knows how or why mine were smaller. My fix was drilling two holes in the snap pads and use 1/4' bolts with nylon locking nuts to hold them on

I check the bolt heads once in a while and no wear at all

Quick update that I changed my Aria 3901 from 9" to 12" feet, and added Snappads. Working fantastic even on fairly soft ground.

New 12" Lippert jack feet and SnapPads

Hey LDK, A question for you about my Aria 3901: I noticed upon jack retraction that the 12" SnapPad slightly hits the lower bracket of the air tank in the driver side rear. What have you encountered? I tried to attach a pic without success. Thanks, Marty Potts

Where did you order the 12" new "feet" from? I'd liked to change my 9's, but not sure where to go or which ones fit - Palazzo 36.1

I've got 12" Octagonally-shaped pads on mine.
Does anybody know if Snap Pads has something to fit over them?
(They don't specifically list my RV... )

Lippert Components (ph:574-537-8900) sent the 12" feet to me "free gratis". The packing slip says: 12" round footpad kit, Hydraulic Jacks, black. Item # 696887. The kit included the center bolt, washer, and 2 O-rings.

Hello. Very close but did not touch. Possibly does not touch because of the direction I installed the SnapPads.

My 2022 Thor Aria 3901 had the stock 9 inch pads that in less than a year totally distorted parking on hard surfaces. These metal pads are the same ones used on 5th wheels weighing half as much as the motor home. They are grossly undersized for the intended purpose.
I recently put 4 new Lippert 9 in pads on so that I could install Snap pads. I wanted to be sure that the fit would be correct. No luck, after just 3 trips parking on concrete 2 of the pads fell off.

After speaking at great length with the Snap Pad reps they confirmed as I said earlier the 9 in pads are not rated for the weight. As a result they have warrantied many units due to this failure of design.

They strongly suggested going to the 12 inch pads. They feel the weight distribution over the larger surface area will minimize the distorting even though they are constructed in the same manner as the 9 in. They also said the warranty claims for the larger pads is nil.
