That's why I loved the golf carts best and wished for a bad boy electric.
The hpx only does 26mph tops, and sounds even worse

Between the drive train and the tire noise and the tilt bed acting as a sounding board, the gator sounds like a... Gator. I really can't think of a comparison. Maybe a two stroke concrete mixer being dragged sideways down pavement is close to the sound.

But I have a backhoe and needed something in between the hoe and the carts, so the gator was perfect. Even at idle the damn thing sounds far worse than a lawn mower.

Maybe that's what it sounds like: a push mower destroying a stump

Lowes was selling a combo atv lawn mower for a while about three years ago. Assembled in Colorado. All recalled. Company tried a comeback and failed again. They were Electric with a 3 or 4kw gas generator built in.
25mph gas or battery.
I thought those were the answer until they burned down a few garages and started up on their own and went to town....

Abject fail.

This is how you do it. Street legal in all the "golf cart friendly" places, 450 watt sound system, 8 cup holders, 429CC gas engine, 280 mile range, super quiet ride and tows nearly 1,000 pounds.

I owned this thing for less than fifteen minutes.
Bought at auction, sold fifteen minutes later for a $2,100 profit as a backside deal at the same auction.
Gave the money to the estate.

(longer story shortened WAAAYYY up)

This one-of-a-kind show Wrangler would be a great compromise as an open-body toad for street-legal wind-in-the-face and also off-road driving. My son has had a few Jeeps and said he’d love one like this to tow behind motorhome.

I’ve thought a street legal Dune Buggy would be great, but this stripped down Jeep is even better than that. It’s reported to be significantly lighter so may work with smaller motorhomes.

I don’t like idea of towing anything, but could make an exception for this. I’d have to think hard about cold weather limitations though.
