Interesting! Good find!! Not on Thor's website yet!
We have said for some time that our Axis would be just about perfect if it had a second slide in the bedroom and was a couple of feet longer with a bigger shower. Not crazy about the under cabinet microwave, but life is full of compromises! Looking forward to checking one out when available locally!

I really think if I want something bigger than our 24.1, which won't be happening in the near future, I would go with a Class A on the F-53 chassis. Nothing against our Axis and I'll leave it at that.

An even larger Axis -- it was only a matter of time.

The number designation seems out of order compared to all others. Why isn't it 27.1?

Also in keeping with previous floorplans, if it's a "27", that would make it roughly 2-feet longer than the 25.x floorplans, making it close to 29-feet long. So much for original RUV marketing being just a little longer than a Suburban.

I do like that it's the first Axis/Vegas with TV relocated away from over the door. Unfortunately it's location over the dinette isn't much better.

Agree. The whole RUV concept was to keep it a shorter length for a Class A I thought....

The model # sort of makes sense--and hints at another floorplan being available soon. Looking at the website there is: 24.1, 25.2, 25.3, 25.4, 25.5 and now 27.7..where is the .6?

It still is relatively smallish (assuming it is, in fact, only 27ft; that does put it under 30--30 being an arbitrary measure for "large" RVs). Our 24.1 easily fits across two parking spots with space to spare, perhaps that is what they are going for "small enough to fit across two parking spaces"--again another arbitrary specification.

I was hoping that they would go a little larger like this: The step up to an F-53 just makes the RV feel "huge" to me, even for the 25ft class A's on the F-53. A little longer Axis/Vegas on the E450 frame still has that small A feel to it (although I'll have to decide that if/when I actually get to see a 27.7 model--our local RV show is in two weeks but I'm doubtful they'll have one).

It scales to just under 29 feet in my opinion. I'd guess 28'-9", more or less.

Hope it is about 29'. I think a 29' A with two slides but only 94" wide would put Thor in a sweet spot. Not much else out there with those attributes unless you look at a C. Would be happy to see them produce a second 2 slide model!

Floor plan but no spec's, does show it as 28'6". I wonder what outside storage is, kind of spoiled with the 24.1.

Okay Jamie,
You have piqued my curiosity.... what F-53 is out there that is 25' long?

This new floorplan looks like a copy of the 25.3, with a couple of feet added in length to provide space for the extra dinette in the second slide.

Added MSRP of $9,600 buys the extra dinette, but also seems to cramp the remainder of coach a bit.

It'll be interesting to see if they stretched the wheelbase even more beyond 188" or 194".

Too bad it's all going in wrong direction for me. Every new Axis floorplan gets further from anything that interests me.

Thor just posted specs.

Wheelbase is 194", same as 25.2. Rear overhang should be considerably longer.

Outside storage is only 36 cubic feet, the lowest of the floorplans. It's hard to figure how the largest Axis/Vegas ends up with lowest outside storage if not due to second slide.

Outside storage being only 36 cu ft instead of our 63.5 would hurt! Do like the 40 gal black tank vs our 30 gal. Also like the 6 seat belts, including 2 forward facing for car seats. That would be great for our grands!

What is an electric stabilizing system????

Note that the black is still only 30 gal, grey is 41 and fresh is 39.

"Electric Stabilizing System": Just a guess but I'd say: Jacks or airbags?

Funny that in the video above they stress the one outside storage spot.

Thats a lot less storage. Anyone know how many cubic feet of storage is under the front seat pass thru? I doubt that has been changed so if that is included in the 36 cubic feet of total amount that is going to be one small storage compartment.
Watched the VIdeo and saw the exterior LP connect, nice.
Also looking very close at the Video it appears there is a bug screen behind the front grill (some kind of mesh in the Video as it pans the new front end) so as to protect the engine compartment. If so, looks like they listen to some of the concerns raised on this Forum.

Hey Jamie! Still seeing 40 gal black tank this AM under key specs and in the comparison of all models on Thor page. Last night I saw both 30 and 40! Am guessing one is a Thor typo!!

Would be great if electric stabilization was jacks!

Looks like the Axis page says 30 gal and the Vegas page says 40 gal...interesting. I wonder which is accurate (can't believe Thor would put different ones in Axis vs Vegas and if they did they would probably screw up frequently and put them on the wrong units! LOL).

Hurricane and Windsport had a 27' up till last year when they went to the 29M from my understanding there was a push back from consumers as competitors had a 27', again maybe Thor is listening I really like the size of mine and was actually looking at the competition as they still had the model available, I guess I can look at Thor again
