Newbie

We just picked up our first rv. We decided on the Windsport 29M. So far so good, just a few minor problems. I must say that the stereo is the pitts, sounds like a large transistor radio.I played with the settings and it says subwoofer on/off but I hear no change. Does the Windsport have a subwoofer or a power amp? It sounds highly underpowered. I finally found out how to turn on the outside speakers but do not know how to control them from outside. Just a side note, they are wired out of phase. Thanks in advance as I'm sure I will have many more questions.

Welcome aboard and congrats on your new mh. Can't help you with the Windsport questions but I know there are plenty of knowledgable and experienced folks on the forum here that can probably help. Enjoy your rig and stay safe.

First of all congratulations on your new coach and welcome to the forum!!!

No subwoofer that I know of, just a crappy radio and speakers.

For the outside speakers the rear radio runs them, there is a Jensen app you can download, sync your phone, and you can control the radio with your phone. The app actually works pretty good. I don't know about the speakers being out of phase, not sure I would know how to tell, you can probably pull the radio and switch the speaker wires.

On this forum go to: Modifications and Updates: Jerry's Hurricane mods. There are now over 80 pages of mods for the 29M submitted by Jerry and many others.

Just a suggestion, look at or google, there are also YouTube videos, for the chf (cheap handling fix), makes a huge difference and it's free to do with common tools.

Wish you the best and many safe and happy miles!!!

P.S. Suggest you add your coach model under the brand so people will know which one you have.
