Awning switch/ Steps and Battery input

I have a 2017 Thor Hurricane 29M.

The switch just inside the door will not operate the awning. The Rapid Camp remote will but not the switch.

The steps come out intermittently. This past week they came out while going down the road. Hard time to get them back in. Now seems to be working ok.

The Battery input above the thermostat inside will not light up at all.

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with theses issues?

Thank you

Final update: The MH is repaired and now for sale. A two year old MH
that now has a new 20 year warranty roof.

After it sells we are going back to a towed RV either a TT or 5th wheel.

The only override for the steps retracting when ignition is on is the door sensor.. Open door extends steps even while driving.

Check the door sensor... May be loose or not close enough for magnetic contact.
Usually a simple adjustment.

Water does more damage to RV's than any other single thing, so I'm told. Roof's are funny animals, some go seemingly forever and don't fail, others, like yours fail early, IMO due to poor workmanship during construction. I have my roof checked every six months, mainly just to be sure all caulking is solid, which is the source of most leaks.

Thank you. I went and looked and I believe the magnet sensor is coming away from the door making the door open coming down the road. I will have to figure out how to tighten that up.
Now have to figure out about the switch for the awning and the inverter.

Thanks again.

Slide outs not working

I have a 2008 Chateau Citation Class C. Just installed a new converter as I had no power in the coach no lights, monitor panel or fridge didn't work Battery is good lights work now but slide outs nothing!! Where would the slide out motor be in this unit? Both bedroom and living slides not working. Also steps stopped working too. All fuses are good no breakers popped that is all ok. What else besides the motor should I be checking?I am a woman so need advice that isn't too technical in nature. Where is the relay and is there a disconnect switch somewhere? I know about the battery disconnect and that is in the on position. I read that there is a re connect button somewhere under the hood next to a solenoid ???Looked but did not find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. HELP PLEASE!!!!
