Stress cracked windshield and insurance

We are on our first long trip. We got the dreaded stress crack on our windshield, drivers side, started at the pillar.

We are out of warranty. Has anyone dealt with this windshield crack, and gone through their insurance company? Should we expect any problems?

Most of the comments I've read have been windshields replaced under warranty.
Thanks for any help.

If you have glass coverage, you should not have any problems

In Illinois, it falls under comprehensive.
Thanks for your reply. I was just concerned that since it wasn't from a rock, there might be a hassle.

It is going to vary based on each state's insurance rules. In FL it is covered by comprehensive and there is a rule that eliminates any deductible.

Had two. One about 12" the other anout 4". Took it to Novus. They repaired it. Has held up over 1,000 miles so far. Insurance covered it $35.00
