Outlaw Garage Lighting (how to dim?)

Folks, I've got a 37RB and we're starting to use the garage a little more, as we remain stationary for the winter in FL. Some carpet, a couple of chairs, the jackknifes are out. Generally, a decent place to watch TV. With that said, the LED lights are really bright (like Soviet labor camp interrogation room bright). Needless to say, the remote light switch does not have the dimmer option for those, unlike Living, Bed, Hall, etc. lights. So I rigged a temporary solution that includes blue, painter's tape. Not too classy and I hear about it from the wife, roughly every five minutes. My answer is that it is but a holding pattern, until I figure out a more glamorous solve. Anyone have the means by which one would extend dimming functionality on this kind of setup? That is, dimming lights in the rig for those lights that didn't come so configured from the factory. thanks in advance.

There are LEDs that are designed to be dimmed. If you can find them, and dimmer switch:

Bob, thanks. Saw that online. I have this naive dream that someone is going to tell me that you can, in fact, get a remote light switch (like the ones that come delivered in the unit) with that functionality. I'm trying to stay away from a hard-wired separate switch. It's a simple dream

I used to wear a baseball cap in my brother in laws livingroom, 2 ceiling fans with I think 5 100w bulbs each

If you take 1 of them apart you should find a part #.
Google that #

Part number hunt is a good idea. I know the wall unit is purely a remote control and at some point in the circuit, dimming is included for some of the connections and not others. Will continue hunting.

check your bulbs, I'm pretty sure ours have no serviceable parts.

I too am an Outlaw owner. The led overheads are very bright throughout the coach and at times I wished I had a dimmer. My interim fix was to purchase some stage production lighting film from Amazon. It comes in a variety of colors and tints and I found a light amber color that works for me. I just popped the led cover off and cut a circle out of the film sheet and dropped it in then replaced the cover. It softened the lighting yet still at comfortable levels both day and night. It’s temporary and can be easily restored back to original.

Far more sophisticated. I used blue painter's tape in the same fashion to hold over, until I figured something else out. Turns out we're moving on to another coach (not due to the lighting), so removed the tape (which worked like a charm) -which would not have been a great selling point for anyone other than Jed Clampett.

Can you plug a regular lamp into an electrical outlet?

But with rhe relatively few outlets that you have: why would you want to?

I found that it’s hard to capture the lighting in the RV with my iPhone camera due to the glare factor when aiming the lens at the lights. I hope you can get the idea from these pics. The film is from Alzo Digital via Amazon. Again this was designed to be a temporary thing while I continue my search for a suitable electronically controlled dimmer set-up. It does the trick to tone it down and works for me. Good luck.
