Outsiders doors

Has anybody succeded in fixing the lower compartment doors. As you see in the attached picture the spare at the bottom is much smaller than at the top. The problem comes from the lose hinge. Do you know à fix for this?
Other than the space difference, it allow water to come in the compartiment.

Outside doors

Hopefully somebody has figured this out better than the fix we got from Camping World. They put a plastic tab at the bottom corner which made it harder to close but makes door more even.

we put rubber sealing around our doors (double sided black/sticky/you cut what you want) we "sealed our water heater door top, our furnace door top and know it would work for those!!! you can get 1/2" at car store or Camping world in their awning section........ cheap fix and quiets things too!

Here is picture of repair to make door close. One pic shows the small plastic piece attached in bottom corner. The other is how the door looks when closed

... the real problem is the water intrusion because of the way these doors are designed, or better yet, the door FRAME design.
...the door frames allow water to run down the side of the coach, follow the top of the door frame edge to under the top of the door frame, behind the door, and into the bay.
This is why you will sometimes find water in your bays, with no explaination.

We decided to run additional and simple household rubber adhesive gasket/insulation tape around the inside of the door frames so that the door would make complete contact with the insulation and not allow water to find it's way in.

very bad door hinge design. call tech line at thor and and let them know. open door and lift it up and down ,but be carefull it might fall off. the more you use the doors the worse they get 2016 axis .

I finally figured out how to add pictures when posting and posted the 2 in my previous post. We had a problem with the door not catching to close properly. The above picture with plastic tab was CW repair to that problem. I agree bad door hinge design with no obvious way to adjust.

Seems as if you add a small shim to the inside of the hinge at the bottom, it will raise the door and close the gap at the top. Shim could just be a small washer.

right! the SHIM should be placed behind the hinge, near the bottom, to bring the door up to a proper reveal within the door frame.

we have two doors like this, but they are the doors for the Inverter bay, and the Propane bay, where both lift UP, so the situation does not pose a problem when the hinges are at the TOP.
